Wow – every once in a while, especially when I write the daily forecast weeks ahead of time – I freak myself out. This is one of those times that I am especially thankful for my own words…….
~ “Pour yourself a drink, put on some lipstick and pull yourself together.” Guys and Gals alike, you get the meaning? Do the translation. Its a metaphor for whatever is needed to dust off the last 24 hours and get yourself going this morn. How much you need to drink or how much lipstick you need to put on depends upon how much you have neglected to care of yourself. Your early morning wakeup call finds you in a dream-like state that is hard to shake.
By mid-morning, the caffeine or alcohol kicks in. You are moving along nicely while setting a nice, steady pace. Today is a good day to work behind the scenes. Keep your head down and stay under the radar. The current power brokers and the ones that ‘wanna be’ are both on the prowl. Watch Out! They are out for blood. If you want to avoid conflict and competition: choose win-win scenarios. Work with others rather than against them. Keep win-win in mind as well if you are sought out for a fight or guidance on any emotional issue. You can and will be able to handle some pretty hot topics. Get to the bottom of things in order to discover solutions. Please remember to work with and for others ……… Not against Them!
